When I was four or five years old I got to play with clay for the first time in my life. Afterwards I decided I wanted to be able to do that for the rest of my life. Here's some photographic evidence of that day, that’s me and that's clay!
Two decades later I created Love on a Bike. A little studio+shop in the heart of Amman, Jordan. It opened in July 2007 and has been growing at a happy slow pace ever since. I make things all the time, and sometimes people buy them. I also paint murals every now and then.
Starting January 2019 the love shifted to become my private studio that I open up to customers a couple of days a week. Since the shop no longer has set opening days and hours that information will be updated every Sunday at the top of this page. Scroll down for location information and directions. All the way at the bottom you can sign up for the mailing list and/or send a message.
In recent years I’ve focused primarily on creating functional pottery, visit the Amman shop to meet all my plants and creations in person. There you’ll be able to browse tons of handmade items ready to move to a new home.
You can shop online at www.society6.com/loveonabike where I’ve licensed some of my work to a company in the US to create a bunch of beautiful products featuring my designs. For more info scroll down a bit to learn more about it.
I’m working on finally being able to offer international shipping for the work I create locally in Amman, primarily pottery, and hope to have all the details sorted in time for the launch of the next collection, sometime in the summer 2022. To be notified when the time comes please send me a message or sign up for the mailing list using the forms below.
I also paint murals in public and private spaces, to browse some of my work check the murals section and if you’re interested in commissioning one get in touch.
To browse some of my favorite work and process shots and videos visit my instagram page.
Thanks!

AMMAN
23 Thi Qar Street
Wadi Saqra

The shop moved to a new location in 2016. The new place is located in Wadi Saqra. If using googlemaps enter the street name as "Dhi Qar" and if using the map app built into facebook the street is spelled "The Qar". I can’t discourage you enough though from using GPS to find the shop. The directions there are based on old road information, a little street that used to exist but no longer does still comes up and google will attempt to convince you to go that way, you will be confused and soon after angry. By the time you get to the shop you will be frustrated and angry at me, like I control google and satellites and the universe. I will feel unfairly attacked and will point out that I actually made this information available on here. For both of our sake, please follow the directions I outlined below. PLEASE!
Directions:
Make your way down to Arar Street commonly known as Wadi Saqra street. You'll pass on your right The Winemaker, followed by Zara Centre, and finally Cairo Amman Bank. Take the right directly adjacent to Cairo Amman Bank, at the following T intersection take a left. Love on a Bike will be on your right, in building #23.
IT’S SO EASY TO FIND I PROMISE.
SOCIETY6
society6.com/loveonabike
In 2013 I also set up an online shop via society6. They offer an amazing platform for artists and designers (from all over the world) allowing them to see their work produced on a wide variety of different products. They are continuously adding new products, most recently rugs and duvet covers! They handle production, customer service, and shipping. Items purchased online via society6 ship from the USA.
None of the society6 items are sold in-store in Amman. They are only sold online. I know many of you would like it if I just ordered a bunch of stuff and sold them directly, but I pay what you pay, so I can't afford to buy in bulk to then sell retail. I make 10% profit, that's it. The money is terrible, but they’re all items I can't produce locally and I love them, especially the pillows and totebags- I use them daily. So please make sure you read their FAQs before placing an order, society6 is a platform that I and other artists license our work to. All items ship from the US.
